Improve your memory

You are a student and want to get good marks. You need a good memory to get good marks and you don't know how to memorize lessons.

  Student is reading books.

You are also hardworking and your concepts are very clear.

At the same time, you have created year-round class notes to understand each subject, but if you do not know how to memorize and you do not know the basic principles of memorization, you will not get high success in exams.

According to scientists working on the human mind, our brains can memorize more than two trillion letters, master 40 languages, memorize an entire encyclopedia, and obtain graduate degrees from dozens of universities.

But today our topic in this article is not mental capacity but the mental capacity to be used.

The tragedy is that our education system includes teachers, books, schools, colleges, and universities but nothing is said about the exercise of mental ability and memorization of lessons and the student without using his mental abilities.

Reading is considered a burden. Educators are unfamiliar with mind sciences and the whole system has to bear the brunt of this mistake.

Seminars, lectures, and workshops are held in modern countries to improve memory and benefit not only students but also the general public.

When a student is convinced that he can memorize a lot and keep it in his memory, his tendency goes towards books, knowledge, and education.

We are far from books, knowledge, and education because we are not told easy ways to remember. We don't believe in ourselves, in our abilities and in our talents and we go too far from the real light.

Let's learn some basic principles to improve memory.

1. We quickly remember the things, the facts, and the events that involve us.

In psychology, it is called I. Factor.

You take group photos with your college friends but whenever you see these photos you will see yourself first.

Remember any story but include yourself in the story to remember.

You will soon remember that story.

If you combine the facts of any article and any lesson with you, that lesson will be remembered quickly.

There are three books and one glasses on a table.

-2 Our mind starts to feel bored while collecting some kind of information. Therefore, never read the same article continuously, but bring a variety in reading. Preparing a particular article and memorizing it uses special files of our minds, read another article for a while to relax them, and then come back to the original article.

3. We forget things and facts that we have not repeated after memorizing. Scientists say that after 24 hours, our mind begins to forget very quickly.

Within 24 hours, 80 to 100% of the content stays in our minds. Therefore, you must repeat the lesson within 24 hours.

You can memorize a lesson for several days with just a few minutes of repetition.

4. The mind is thought of as a wardrobe. If the items are scattered in the closet, it will be difficult to find them and if they are in order, they will be easy to find.

Improve the order of things you want to remember to improve memory.

As well as setting them up, make them easy to remember.

-5 Memorize the lesson and take a break of 10 minutes after 45 minutes of hard work.

Don't think about the lesson during this break. Your attention span is up to 45 minutes.

After that, the mind has to be given a little rest and the rest of the mind is possible by diverting the attention.

You can also pray in ten minutes and have a cup of tea.

6. Psychologists emphasize "self-guidance" to increase the capacity of the mind, which is called Auto Suggestion.

Repeat to yourself that your memory is better and better.

You can do this by standing in front of a mirror and looking into the eyes.

When you convince yourself that you have been able to remember a lot, this belief shows its magical effect and the sleeping genie inside you wakes up.

The experts fed the students fake pills to improve their memory and also said that they can increase your memory 100 times and the result was really 100% because everyone was convinced that this would increase the memory. Similarly, Henry Fodd used to say, "Whether you think you can do something or you think you can't do anything, you are right."

7. You remember for a long time the things and events that you have imagined in your mind.

Our mind thinks in pictures. Eye memory is 20 times greater than ear memory.

Try to create a picture in your mind to bring any concept to mind. The image and the concept will stay in your mind for a long time.

8. Before memorizing any lesson, decide how long it takes to memorize it.

When we have clear content and time targets to remember, our mind remembers quickly.

The capacity of the mind becomes active when it has a goal.

Whenever you sit down to memorize, keep a stopwatch so you can speed up your recall.

 Beautiful loaf.

9 We can't put the whole loaf in our mouth and swallow it, we have to make small pieces first.

Then it has to be digested.

In the same way, our minds cannot digest any large amount of material and data together.

We should get in the habit of making short notes or keynotes.

Make a note of the main points, important points and facts of any lesson, it will be easier to remember and you will save time.

-10 Our sleep and rest are closely related to our memory.

When we get enough sleep, our brain cells are refreshed.

Students should sleep for at least 8 hours.

If you are accustomed to getting up early in the morning, then you must rest for a while in the afternoon so that you will feel very fresh.

A group of students is reading.

11. Make a group of your friends sit down once a week and have a memory contest.

We work harder when we have competition with others.

If possible, add extracurricular books to this group.

In this way, your taste for reading will also increase.

Honey in a bowl.

-12 Our brain's diet is glucose.

Our memory improves when we eat glucose.

Avoid oily and protein foods, especially for breakfast during exams. Drink more juice and if you drink tea, add more sugar.

Using these simple techniques, many students from other countries get high marks in exams and at the same time have set many world records.

You too can start the new year and the new semester with these methods, then see the result.
