Are Our Children Are Safe?

Children are a precious asset to any country and nation because they are the ones who shape the future in the times to come.

Children are the guarantors of the development of a country and a nation. Children play an important role in the development journey in developed countries.

Two Children are smiling.

Does our society also consider children as their precious capital? Are children safe in our socie

Society suffers when unemployment, poverty, and neglect are at their peak.

Our society is against many evils, but among these evils, sexual abuse is on the rise and sexual abuse, especially of children, is rampant. And the rate is rising steadily year after year

Interestingly, the only organization in our country Pakistan that is collecting data on physical abuse and sexual exploitation of children is a non-governmental organization called Sahil.

No government agency is active in it and no one is interested in it. There is no education in the media about this. Now is the time to talk about such issues and think of ways to solve them.

Physical abuse of children is on the rise in Pakistan day by day and year by year but it makes me wonder who are these ugly people who are abusing children.

Aren't these people Muslims? Don't they have a religion? Don't they have children of their own? Do they not fear Allah? Don't they have a conscience to blame for all this? Questions keep circulating in the brain, but no one has been able to find an answer.

No ruler or law would hold these low caste people by the collar and ask them or punish them constructively.

Who will give When will you give Let's see and wait for such a law to be made and if such a law is to be made then who will implement it.

Following the rising incidence of child sexual abuse and violence in Pakistan, an NGO (Sahil) has launched an awareness campaign.

The the campaign has been launched in major cities of the country. In which children are told how they can protect themselves.

If we look at the past three years of child abuse, we can see how far we are at this ugly act.

According to Sahil, the last three years, namely 2017, 2018 and 2019, have seen a significant increase in child sexual abuse every year.

There were about 3,832 incidents in 2018, which was 11% more than in 2017. But in 2019, there have been about 4,580 incidents.

the Dawn newspaper

According to a recent report in the Dawn newspaper, 141 children have been abused in Lahore alone in 2018.

According to Sahil, 10 to 13 children are being abused every day in Pakistan.

These reports make it clear that in the last three years alone, there have been more than 9,000 cases of child abuse.

But sadly, this heinous act of child abuse has also been filmed. 31% of children have been killed after being raped. Of these, 66% occurred in rural areas and 34% in urban areas.

Now, where do these events mostly occur? These incidents do not occur on the streets, not in homes, not by kidnappings, but 75% of incidents have occurred in schools, madrassas, and seminaries.

Now parents are worried about where we should send our children to education.

Teachers and clerics have lost confidence. In Pakistan, a country with a 97% Muslim population, children are being physically abused.

The people are busy chanting slogans while the rulers are making speeches and making false promises. The company is embroiled in a cycle of becoming a shining star and a media rating.

Along with Pakistan, the whole world is entangled in the issue of how to end this problem. According to research, one million children are sexually abused in Asia every year. The hairs stand on end as soon as you look at the report submitted. Our future Our children are in great danger. The only way to end this heinous act is to publicly stone the bastards who abuse children because God Himself says in the Qur'an:

The Qur'an:

"Flog each of the men,
adulterers, and women, with a 100 lashes. You shall have no pity on them if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. There should be a group of Muslims at the time of sentencing. " (Surah An-Noor, 2)

The steady rise in child abuse, violence, and rape cases calls into question the performance of law enforcement agencies.

The government will have to enact a law to prevent such incidents and impose the harshest punishment.

Incidents like Zainab and Asma can be prevented with severe punishment. Executions in public, stoning, or public execution can be one form of this.

It is true that in our country the punishment is not public execution. The question is when a law can be made in one's own interest, why can't a law be made in the public interest, child protection measures, severe punishment for the offender?

The role of parents is very important here. Now is the time for parents to train their children.

Give them more time. Cultivate friendships by bridging the gap between them so that no third party can enter into this relationship.

Don't blindly trust anyone. In many cases, only close relatives, neighbors, neighbors, acquaintances have been found involved. Introduce your children to safety measures so that they do not fall prey to anyone's greed.

Because in most cases the child is lured by something. If we do not become our own healers today, nothing will come of it later without remorse.

The National Assembly of Pakistan.

The National Assembly unanimously passed the Zainab Alert Response and Recovery Act of 2019.

A child protection helpline will also be set up.

Now let's see who will implement this law and how much? We have seen the performance of these incompetent rulers a lot.

Now we hope from Allah Mian that he is the only caste who can change the impossible from the possible.

Otherwise, we are a lost nation.

We are fools and will remain fools. We are a sad generation that can neither comfort its elders nor protect its children. Yes, of course, slogans can sound good.
