Novel Alchemist

Paulo Coelho's novel is the story of an Andalusian boy who sees the Egyptian pyramids in a dream in which he is told that a treasure is hidden there.

This novel is the story of reaching this treasure.

The main theme is that the boy, after going through all the difficulties, when he reaches the pyramids of Egypt, he finds out that there is no treasure there, but the treasure that he manages to find in this journey.

Alchemy was the science of medieval Muslim alchemists in which these so-called alchemists tried to turn hard metal into gold.

The main point of this novel is that man is a common metal and with his hard work, this common metal can be turned into gold.

The girl was a model of Andalusian beauty.

Black wavy hair and deep black eyes were a reflection of Arab impressions.
When Santiago heard this from the girl, he replied,

"Yes! But I have learned more from my sheep than from books. ”
For the next two hours, they talked to each other about their lives.

"Where  you have learned to read?" The girl asked.

He kept telling the girl the stories of his journey which had a mixed look of surprise and fear in her eyes.
He was praying that time would stop or that the girl's father would be busier so that he could spend more time with her.

But both his prayers were not answered.
Neither time nor the girl's father could stay busy for long.
The merchant came to him and told him to unload the wool of his four sheep in front of him.

The boy hurriedly unloaded the sheep's wool and when he finished, the merchant gave him money and said that he would come to him next year to give the wool.

It had been a year since the incident and four days later today, the boy was about to reach a foreign businessman where he had seen this Andalusian beauty.

He was happy about it but there was a fear in some part of his heart that the girl might have forgotten him.
After all, shepherds must have passed by, he thought.

But then he told his sheep that even if the girl forgot me, I don't care.

The hearts of shepherds, herdsmen, and sailors must be stuck somewhere.

Somewhere or other there must be someone with whom they have a heart that robs them of all the fun and enjoyment of tourism.
Sun  is  rising.

The sun was about to rise.

The boy quickly turned his flock to the east.

As soon as he signaled to go east, all the sheep turned in that direction.

The boy thought that the sheep would never have a hard time deciding. Maybe that's why whenever I tell them to turn, they turn easily.

. As long as I take them to the beautiful pastures of Andalusia, they will always be with me.

Their days are always the same. Long and endless.

They mean only fodder and water and in return, they give wool every year with great generosity and even once in a lifetime if I start slaughtering them one by one.

They will realize when I have slaughtered more than half the flock.

They may have forgotten to rely on their instincts.

The instinct that warns them of danger.

They are totally dependent on me because I feed and nurture them. ”
